Fraxel

Fraxel treatments improve tone, texture and radiance of the skin to address signs of aging, sun damage or scarring. It is for those who want to look younger without dramatic changes or extended downtime. Otherwise known as fractional resurfacing, it is a revolutionary treatment for:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles like crow’s feet and brow lines.

  • Surface scarring helping to erase the effects of acne and other issues.

  • Pigmentation to diminish the appearance of age spots.

  • Improving the appearance of sun damaged skin.

How it works

Fraxel laser treatment targets aging and sun-damaged skin with microscopic laser columns that penetrate deep into your skin to expedite your body’s remodeling of collagen. Since the laser treats only a fraction of tissue at a time, it leaves the surrounding tissue intact, and that promotes rapid healing. This treatment stimulates the growth of new, healthy skin cells from the inside out.

IPL Photofacial

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Photofacial is a non-invasive, laser-light treatment that delivers high-intensity light into the deeper layers of the skin. It is an effective treatment for pigment issues, such as brown spots, sun damage, Rosacea, and broken capillaries. Adjustments are made to the range and wavelength of the light emitted during the treatment to meet specific needs.

How it works

IPL emits multiple wavelengths into the skin and effectively targets pigment-producing cells below the surface of the skin. The light energy is converted to heat energy and destroys the hyperactive melanin-producing cells in the layers of your skin, eventually dispersing pigmented areas and causing them to flake off the skin.

VBeam Vascular Treatments

Vbeam is a pulsed-dye laser (PDL) that minimizes the redness associated with rosacea. It is also referred to as vascular laser because it is used to treat issues related to blood vessels, such as broken capillaries, rosacea, spider veins, port wine stains and others. It also can be used to advance the healing of post-treatment bruising caused by cosmetic or surgical procedures.

How it works

Vbeam uses dye to generate different colors of laser beams that are delivered in pulses. The color of light used corresponds to the targeted area causing them to break down without damaging the surrounding skin cells.

Vbeam treatment is not appropriate for pregnant women or patients who have taken Accutane for the past six months.
